I had my first knee replacement in May. When they wheeled me into the OR, Jen was there and gave me a warm welcome. Jen graduated a year behind me from Blue Mountain High School, although I hadn’t seen her since then. We chatted briefly before I was out, and I honestly don’t remember what was said. Six weeks later, when getting my second knee replaced, the doctor came in and told me that Jen saw my name on his surgery schedule and came in on her day off!! She popped her head in before surgery, and I thanked her for coming in on her day off. She said she promised me she would be there at my first surgery!! So kind and thoughtful. The other kudos I want to give Jen is that she closes up a knee replacement beautifully!! My scars are minimal with her stitching and gluing techniques.
