Recently, I had two screws removed from my left ankle. I had to be there by 6:30am, so we were up at 4:15 am to get there in time.  Kris came to get me that morning from the waiting area. She was so nice and pleasant to both my husband and I. 

Kris explained to me what was happening today and she explained about the circulating nurse. I wear a wig due to alopecia. I asked if I had to take it off. Kris said she would ask the circulating nurse because I have metal clips sewn into it to hold it on my wig cap. We talked about my wig, and she said she would not have guessed I was wearing a wig. That made me feel so awesome. 

She put the IV in and got me all ready for surgery. Kris is a wonderful asset to St. Mary's. You have a wonderful hospital in Detroit Lakes.
