Joanna was our nurse during the day shift. At the start, we knew she had that special touch to give the very best care for my wife as she went through her stay at SLMC. Joanna was so thoughtful and caring, answering all concerns about the tests and procedures my wife was about to undertake. Then, the most stressful point: while I was away for a couple of hours, I received a call from Joanna that I should return because surgery was about to happen! This was not on the topic of the treatment as of then. The cold chills hit me hard, not knowing how this would go. Joanna was right there with me, giving me comfort about the way things transpired. This gave me great comfort from what was about to happen. Even after surgery, she followed up with a visit even though she was not our RN. Joanna is one special lady, RN. Treat her well!
