She came to find me in the waiting room to let me know she was thinking of me and would pray for me.
I am a naturally anxious person, and having to go for infusions during my pregnancy was not an easy task for me. Every time Yara was my nurse, she put me right at ease. I never felt as if I had to wait; she was always on top of making sure my infusion was switched out without a second to waste. She checked on me multiple times and made sure I was comfortable.
What stood out, however, was the day before I was scheduled for surgery. She came to find me in the waiting room to let me know she was thinking of me and would pray for me. Additionally, after my surgery, the inpatient nurse let me know that Yara had checked on me to make sure that my surgery was a success and that I was doing well. She has the best bedside manner of any nurse that I have come into contact with at Baptist.
