K.D. went above and beyond in caring for me when I was vomiting for hours. He advocated for me with both the doctor and pharmacy. K.D. was extremely compassionate when I was at my worst in the night. He stayed with me and comforted me while at the same time demonstrating exemplary practice and advocacy. He always respected and listened to my needs and never made me feel like it was my fault. I felt I could talk easily with him about my fears and vulnerability. I trusted him, and he never let me down. K.D. upheld both his own integrity as a professional and acknowledged my integrity as a vulnerable patient.
