Norma is beyond amazing! I have been in this unit for going on three days and I had her last night. She was the absolute best nurse I have had in my entire life of ever coming here. She was so respectful, listened to me, and didn't make me feel rushed to hurry up and get me through so she could get out. She went above and beyond to help me with anything and everything I needed. She was super busy that night and anytime I needed her, she came.

The most important thing is how I heard her handle other patients in other rooms who were not being nice to her at all, and she was so calm and loving towards them. She was just spectacular as the parents were so very rude to her. She handled it with so much grace and mercy and her whole attitude was amazing the whole night. Even talking to the other nurses and empowering them and always talking positively and not negatively. She was just a breath of fresh air and brought happy energy to the whole floor! What I witnessed last night was an amazing leader holding her patients and her team she works with up and making the night so refreshing and great. No matter how irritated I was by not getting answers, she made me feel calm and collected by explaining in detail everything and taking me step by step. I will forever love her, because she is an amazing nurse!
