She had a professional, emotional, empathetic, compassionate, and caring mentality. That is a gift from God. Not everyone has this talent.
Morena was so kind and totally dedicated to providing excellent patient care. Thank you very much!

I would like to extend my thank you to Morena. She had that special, genuine bond with patients. She had a professional, emotional, empathetic, compassionate, and caring mentality. That is a gift from God. Not everyone has this talent. She made me feel heard and mattered, especially concerning my health. This was a life-changing event for me, and I am grateful for this. She was the best, and I truly appreciate her.

Morena was an outstanding nurse, and she went the extra mile to make sure all her duties were performed to the best of her abilities. A few of her patient care responsibilities include being very friendly and ensuring that medications are given on time. I think other nurses should be like her and go the extra mile to make the hospital a better place.
Nurse Manager:
I am so happy that I hired Morena when I was the manager for 8B and transportation. She was pregnant during Covid and ended up not being able to do her orientation during her pregnancy and came to work with me in the transportation department. She was a great asset who was professional, flexible, willing to help, and had a great attitude to learn. I had to give Morena up to 6B as she needed to do her orientation. I was sad to lose her, however, I knew she had to start her patient care experience. In January 2022, I was assigned to 6B, and I was able to work with Morena again. She had worked in 6B for a while and had experience as a bedside nurse. She worked with me on a difficult patient who did not want to be discharged, and I remember she kept her cool and together, we convinced him to allow us to get his clothes on and follow the discharge order. Her attitude is still positive, willing to listen and learn, calm and empathetic to her patients, and is always on task. Morena, I greatly appreciate your dedication and appreciate you on my team.
Thank you for everything you do!”
