When I came to the hospital I was wrestling with the idea of surgery vs. trying more medications to get my Crohn's disease under control. The medications have a lot of negative side effects and surgery would be to remove my colon and I'd have an ostomy bag for the rest of my life. There is a lot of pain involved and being away from my family is stressful. I've been unable to work and have just been going through a hard time.

Audrey is not only a good nurse but she is an amazing person. I'll truly never forget the impact that she made on me and how she helped me while I was in her care. She explained things to me in ways I could understand and also made me feel special by always going out of her way to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of. She listened to my symptoms and helped encourage me through my tough time. She is extremely knowledgeable on all things healthcare also! I'm so very thankful she was my nurse!
