On Sunday, when he came in, he pulled out his phone and played a Tom Jones song. That pepped her up so much.
First of all, I’d like to say that this was by far the best hospital stay we have ever had as a family at TGMC. All personnel were polite, friendly, helpful, and professional at all times. There was no loud chitchat in the halls by personnel, and there was no arguing about who was going to clean the patient or the room. It was usually done quickly by either Tim himself or other personnel. The difference Tim made my family will never forget is that one night, my 82 y/o dad was asking for ice cream, something he eats as a snack every night. He came in and told Dad there was none. When he saw the disappointment on Dad’s face, he went to 2 other floors until he found sugar-free popsicles and jello and gave my dad a choice. The smiles on our faces were priceless, and his also! P.S. This was only one of the wonderful experiences we had with Tim.

Tim spoke to my mom on Saturday, and she told him she liked Tom Jones. On Sunday, when he came in, he pulled out his phone and played a Tom Jones song. That pepped her up so much. He then engaged her in conversation about Tom Jones. He literally had me in tears. It was the kindest action. He talked to her and remembered what she said. So kind.
Note: This is Tim's 2nd DAISY Award!
