My mother was admitted to the emergency room for AFib. My mother has a severe phobia of hospitals and does not do well in them. We know it is always going to be a challenge to get her to go and furthermore keep her there. We were blessed by God to get Maygan as our nurse. She was like an angel sent from heaven. She quickly realized my mother's anxieties and put her professionalism into practice, and was able to calm my mother down. Her ability to function not only as an amazing nurse, but to become an acting therapist was amazing to witness. She knew exactly what was necessary to calm my mother down, remove all her fears, and enable her to be treated was remarkable. Maygan is extremely knowledgeable in her nursing field and has the skills to go far and beyond her role as a nurse. We spent approximately seven hours with Maygan, and when it was all said and done, my mother asked if she could stay in the ER under Maygan's care rather than being transferred to a room. My family was so impressed with her performance that we could help but have her recognized. You are very blessed to have Maygan as part of your staff, and I hope she can receive some form of recognition for her outstanding performance. We love you and appreciate you, Maygan!!
