As we sat in the 2 Sarofim café a parent's worst nightmare came true. Parents were eating lunch, and taking a break between appointments for their neonate. I could see the dad and mom holding the baby but continued our conversation. Mom suddenly says to two nurse angels next to her that the baby is not breathing. One began CPR as the other nurse ran to our table to seek help because she saw the Pedi shirts. Heather sprang into action. I called the rapid and she began CPR and mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. The baby was grey. She did CPR until the baby regained a pulse and was breathing, around three to four rounds of CPR. The rapid team came, and the baby was moved to the Pedi ER. We followed them so that she could give a report to the ER team. I could not have a better friend and partner. Today a baby lives because of your hard work!
