Amanda was everything and more beyond being authentic, compassionate, and trustworthy. From day one, her personality, bedside manner, attentiveness, inclusive actions of us and just answering all of our questions honestly were very appreciated. Amanda was a nurse I 100% trusted with our baby. She was familiar with his fighter personality. We shared many laughs as he would break free from his swaddles quickly with an arm or leg out and even him grabbing his tubes. She allowed us a hands-on experience since we couldn't hold him. Amanda is truly compassionate and goes above and beyond. Upon the news of my son's passing, she came to the hospital on her day off and shared our sadness and wonder about this very unexpected event. My respect and admiration for her grew even more this day. A nurse like Amanda is a keeper, especially in the NICU. Thank you for caring for our baby Amanda. We will always remember you.
