Today we met an everyday hero minus the fact he did not wear a cape. From the moment we arrived, and Alex began taking care of my husband, the kindness and commitment that he was putting into his job was amazing! He immediately calmed all of our nerves. Our cardiologist was running a little behind schedule, so Alex helped us pass the time and answered all our questions. My son, myself, and of course, my husband, the patient, had all kinds of silly ideas running through our minds. Unfortunately for me, my anxiousness really started to set in about two hours into the procedure. Then like an angel Alex appeared, he told me that the procedure was going well, but he would personally go in and check on my husband. He shortly returned and said things were going okay! That the doctor was busy at work. Time kept passing, and Alex kept checking on me and my son.

What a wonderful human, he basically had three patients. He just continued to take care of all three of us like we were each of his patients. It's impossible to put into words the feeling of pure love and kindness he displayed towards each of us. This man is a wonderful nurse, but he goes so far above and beyond his job description and is completely in tune with the needs of each patient and family member. He gave each of us the perfect prescription! Today, my husband came to the hospital just like a wilting Daisy in need of care. Alex could not have been a better caretaker. We left with a major procedure behind us and feeling good! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our hearts happy. We will never forget you! You, Alex, are very special!
