Gigil was the nurse on shift for several days during my husband's hospital stay. Gigil took care of S during pre-op and post-op. He is a highly experienced, competent and talented nurse. After S's surgery had been canceled, Gigil delivered the news that his surgery was rescheduled and he gave us a high five and clapped. Other nurses were unable to get a blood pressure or pulse on the machine - Gigil was able to take a manual pulse and frequently updated S on his medications and changes to his condition. Gigil is safe, confident, and always knows his patients' names and conditions no matter what the staffing or ward stress levels were like. All the nurses were compassionate and talented but Gigil stands out as someone we felt a huge degree of relief and happiness when he called for S.
