Joann has worked at Barnes-Jewish Hospital for 18 years many of which have been in Ortho / Spine. As new staff are hired and travel nurses come and go, it is Joann who is their preceptor. However, not only is she initially involved, but her wealth of knowledge specific to Ortho/Spine is invaluable. She fields all the questions with a smile. Not only does she care for her assigned patient, but she will also check in on other nurses’ patients if asked.
