Dean is helping bridge the gap that no matter what position you hold, you can show support and be an example. Dean truly cares for the patients we serve, and for the staff he works alongside.
Mr. Dean Martin has made a significant positive impact with both patients and his peers as he has gone above and beyond to provide adequate coverage, often with a last-minute notice, and always with a smile and positive attitude. Dean was informed recently that due to unforeseen circumstances that EFTP was down an additional LVN. Dean volunteered to work any shifts needed, never complained, and did so with a smile. Dean was often met with high acuity, and difficult situations, and often assisted with PNA duties. He has been a significant support person for the RNs during high-stress situations. He never let the high patient acuity or difficult situations cause him to lose his positivity, complain, or stop providing assistance with any task asked of him. Dean volunteered to provide LVN coverage, but more often than that, he would be on the floor alongside the PNAs. Dean is a dedicated staff with over 25 years of service. Dean is a big influence on new PNA staff coming in for the next shift, leading by example. Dean is helping bridge the gap that no matter what position you hold, you can show support and be an example. Dean truly cares for the patients we serve, and for the staff he works alongside. EFTP is a better place because of Dean's dedication to the population we serve.
