Our staff identified five patients in need of midline placement. We called Izzy knowing that he was due to leave soon but hoping that he may be able to help. Despite the late hour, Izzy made his way to the ICU and completed the midlines for all of the patients in need despite only having forty minutes in his shift. He even made time to teach our student nurses.

Izzy showed exemplary compassion towards our patients and exhibited extraordinary internal customer service to his ICU colleagues. Although we are writing about the occasion today, Izzy goes above and beyond the call of duty regularly to provide excellent nursing care, efficiency, and teamwork.
