I was in the hospital for a full week, and I had numerous good nurses. That being said, one particular nurse stood out above the rest. Bhushan made me feel like someone was really listening to me and cared about my well-being. He was always prompt with anything I needed and spent a minute or two extra, when he could, to just talk to me. He made the trial of being stuck in the hospital for a week a little less overwhelming. He made suggestions to me about trying different things to relieve my discomfort, beyond just delivering my pain medication. Bhushan encouraged me to rest and really cared if I was getting sleep at night. But as much as all those things are important, the entire time, I was confident I was getting excellent medical care as well. He always had my best interest in mind and was doing everything he could to help me recover. Bhushan is exactly what a nurse should be. Compassionate, caring, and dedicated to overall patient well-being.
