I cannot describe in proper detail the immense care, consideration, patience, and determination that was invested to ensure that my daughter and I were properly cared for.
Despite our family’s positive outlook on life, we were recently involved in one of the worst nightmares that any family could ever experience, involving our emotionally disturbed, almost nineteen-year-old daughter. Without going into all the details, my daughter suffered a sexual assault, which led to hospitalizations with subsequent three-day and fourteen-day psych holds at Los Angeles General.
I cannot describe in proper detail the immense care, consideration, patience, and determination that was invested to ensure that my daughter and I were properly cared for. William directed me where I needed to be directed, followed up with me when I had questions that needed an answer, assisted with processes, and walked me through the procedural nightmare that sometimes accompanies circumstances like these and an array of things that I wish never existed, but they do, and William was incredible. Never let him retire, more vacations perhaps, but do not lose this person. Please make sure William and the entire ER Psych Department and the VIP Center know that what they do all day, and what is often unappreciated, was greatly appreciated by our family.

William is a kind, dedicated nurse and a good team player who frequently volunteers to take extra shifts to help the department. William collaborates with the management team to identify opportunities to enhance the unit's operations. He is highly skilled at acquiring new equipment for the department. He recently facilitated the acquisition of new monitors for the nurse station by placing tickets to switch old ones with new ones.
William has also participated in projects aimed at improving the Emergency Department. He is an AVADE instructor and magnet ambassador.
William, I am grateful to have you as part of our Psych ER team. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment to providing the best patient care are highly appreciated.
