This was my first experience with ICU from a visitor's point of view. While everyone was so nice and considerate, Joe displayed kindness and compassion with not only his patients but to me. I've never experienced such a kind and compassionate nurse as Joe.

I knew my dear friend was very ill but did not expect to find her on a ventilator and it brought me to tears. Joe could see how upset and in shock I was so took time to explain what was happening, what to expect, and comfort me. I can't thank Joe enough for his actions to reassure me.
