In 2022, I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. I want to pay tribute to all the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) staff for their professionalism, especially the nursing staff at the adult chemotherapy unit. Nurse Somyah is a dedicated team member who demonstrates unparalleled compassion and expertise toward patients battling cancer.

Somyah is an excellent example of an exemplary nurse. Throughout the chemotherapy sessions, she provided me with high-quality nursing care, ensuring my comfort and safety. She vigilantly monitored my medical condition, maintained remarkable support, understood my concerns, and patiently answered questions. Somyah consistently went beyond her duties, ensuring my needs were met with the utmost care.

Somyah is truly an outstanding nurse. She exhibited exceptional teamwork and collaboration with other healthcare team members, ensuring a coordinated approach to patient care. Her professionalism, communication skills, and commitment to excellence have set a standard for compassionate nursing care within the adult chemotherapy unit. Despite the distance and the hardships of travel, I felt Somyah's closeness, and the secret to this feeling was her warm treatment. I remember her in my prayers, asking God to protect her and grant her health in return for her dedication and exceptional work.
