In 2020, I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I have been undergoing my treatment journey at the King Hussein Cancer Center (KHCC) for three years. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to the entire nurses team at the Medical Surgical Unit on the fourth floor for their commitment to providing compassionate care to patients and their families. They went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and safe. I strongly believe that this outstanding unit has many DAISY Nurses, and Ayah, the nurse responsible for caring for me, is one of them.

Ayah's response to my needs was extraordinary. She managed to turn my room into a place of joy and celebration. On my birthday, while I was admitted, Ayah organized a surprise birthday celebration that lifted my mood and created a memory I will never forget. Her outstanding approach to care transformed the hospital environment into a space filled with warmth and love. Ayah not only provided exceptional post-operative medical care but also recognized the importance of addressing emotional needs during a hospital stay.

Ayah is indeed an outstanding nurse. The birthday party she organized was a confirmation of her compassionate nature. The effort she put into making that day special went above and beyond the call of duty, demonstrating her commitment to providing personalized care. Her ability to connect on a personal level and bring happiness into the hospital room is genuinely remarkable. In addition to her exemplary nursing skills, Ayah's kindness, pleasant smile, and genuine concern for my emotional needs gave me hope and support throughout my challenging stay in the unit.
