Conner became the nurse for our family that, when listed on the whiteboard made us feel that my father-in-law would get excellent care that day. Conner always answered our questions and if he did not know, he reached out and asked or contacted those who could assist us. We know he was busy; he works on a busy unit, but he did not let that show, and we always felt we had his full attention. When we would come to visit on the days Conner was the nurse my father-in-law would be up in the chair, looking ready for the day! This was so appreciated. Conner even took care of the small details, like cleaning his glasses for him. You know when the little things are cared for, the big things are too. What a peace of mind it gave us. Even if he was not our family member's nurse that day, he was always approachable when we had general unit questions. This is what caring, organized nursing looks like. It is not task-oriented but patient- and family-needs-oriented! Great job, Conner!
