I know now what it's like to go through a human car wash! At admittance 5 staff members scrubbed me down, got me into a gown, and made me comfortable and saw that I was monitored! These folks were NASCAR-quality! But all joking aside, from the moment I entered Atrium Lincoln to the process of being discharged today, I've been the recipient of excellent care- really beyond any expectations! I am very grateful for the skillful care I've received while here at CCU! There are so many people to thank, and I don't want to miss a single one because the whole unit, every shift, every team member from the manager Karen to day and evening nurses and CNAs, Housekeeping, Nutrition, Respiratory, and other support staff are the reason I'm walking out of here today! Can you stop and imagine the alternative for a moment? Then you can see the difference these wonderful people made in my life!

I could never adequately express my thanks to all the nurses and CNAs, every single person. As I leave today to continue recovery at home, I carry each of you with me! From the bottom of my heart, I thank you all so very much!
