My husband was brought into the ICU with stage 4 lung cancer and many side issues. We knew it would be difficult, but the reality was beyond words. Kristine was our angel. She held our hands, she educated us, she supported and listened - truly listened to our concerns, our needs, and our fears. Kristine was a light that got me through some difficult hours, she was truly there for my husband and our family. Kristine always treated my husband with respect and dignity; her devotion to her patient went above and beyond. Kristine is a true DAISY Nurse, but I feel that she would say she was just doing her job. No! Kristine was doing more than a job - she opened her heart, and for that, we are forever grateful.
