Hayley not only touched the lives of one family but our committee received 8 nominations in this quarter alone, and not just from families but Nursing instructors and her peers. Below is just a sample of the comments she has received:

-Hayley is an amazing nurse. She stayed late to make sure my daughter got her meds knowing how hard it’s been for her. She has gone out of her way when she was our nurse and even when she wasn’t. She really made a terrible situation so much better.

-From a Nursing Instructor on Hayley’s Unit: There was a patient here for an extended period of time with an NG tube. Once he progressed to a regular diet, Hayley ordered Chipotle for him. The patient was thrilled, stating, “You are the best nurse ever.” Hayley always goes above and beyond to ensure that her patients are cared for.

-Hayleigh provided care when I needed it most.

-I’ve been in a lot of hospitals. Hayley shows leadership and a positive attitude. UH is lucky to have her.
