Chelsea is one of the most perfect nurses/leaders for her role! Every single day she sees some very hard situations in her department. No matter the situation, her demeanor remains calm, kind, upbeat, and most importantly compassionate. My ex-mother-in-law has mentioned to me on multiple occasions how much she enjoys her interactions with Chelsea. Especially with going through what she is going through.

It has not been an easy road for her and when she could not get the information and medication she needed, Chelsea went above and beyond to locate and find it. She made sure to follow up with her and let her know the status each time she had more information. To deal with cancer is horrible enough but to also deal with not having the medication you need just adds to that anxiety and stress. This is just one of many examples that Chelsea does for her patients.

Chelsea continuously stays updated on her patients' care and gives them the best of herself even when her day may not be going in her favor. The encouragement she shows her patients along with the passion and expertise she has in her department and field goes above and beyond for her patients. She delivers the best of herself and represents MyMichigan in one of the most positive ways I have seen. We truly have one of the best DAISY's in the field with Chelsea on our team!
