Nurse Cody Bull helped take care of me during my hospital stay for the removal of kidney stones surgery. During my stay, he took extraordinary and compassionate care for me on two shifts. I ended up with a bowel blockage and had a difficult time with it, lasting a few days. He was there for me with excellent care and compassion. When I had to take the Golytely and drink gallons of it to free the bowel blockage, he went above the extra mile to help me drink that as I just had to do that last week for a colonoscopy. He offered and looked into me, adding a fruit juice that would help the taste so I could swallow it better. He even offered to go to the canteen and get it if they did not have the right juice to add to the Golytely. He was there for me and showed compassion and concern for me. He has a caring heart and gave me peace knowing he was looking after me. He also kept a close eye on me with my high blood pressure and called the doctor to check on me. He is an asset to the VA hospital and to all the veterans he serves. Thank you Cody for the excellent care and concern you gave me!
