We are so beyond thankful that we chose LGH in our emergency and were blessed to have Megan working at the time!
We had Megan in Pediatrics last weekend when our son was admitted for a scary concussion during his soccer game. We had never been to LGH before and were obviously scared/nervous when the ER said they were going to admit him into the hospital. Megan and her PtCa were so beyond amazing with our son (and us). They were both so caring from the second we entered the room. They spent time just chatting with him crouched down on the floor when we first got there and both had such a calming presence about them. You could tell they were both meant to work with children. They even made a point to interact with our daughter who was stuck in the hospital with us for 7 hours that day. They brought both of our kids toys (the kids were shocked by this) and made sure to tell us about the yummy milkshakes we could grab downstairs! When we finally got discharged, Megan walked us all the way to our car in the parking garage and even let my daughter push her brother in the wheelchair when it was safe on flat ground. We are so beyond thankful that we chose LGH in our emergency and were blessed to have Megan working at the time! Thank you, Megan, for being such a caring RN and making us feel so cared for during a very, very scary day! We appreciate it so much!
