Stacey and I connected right away. After I was a patient for several weeks, I could finally wash in the shower rather than at the bedside. Stacey wasn't my nurse but she still came to help unhook my tubes, protect my IV, and assist with my shower. Her attitude and respect allowed me to feel human again.
