Having a bi-lateral mastectomy, with complications, I was in a terrible place both mentally and physically. Jeong was never my actual nurse, but was there to help every other nurse all night long. She came in to assist me in everything, from going to the bathroom (while maintaining my dignity) to coming in just to make sure I was ok and comfortable. All of the other nurses knew they could call on her for anything, and she helped them and me with a smile and patience, building them up the whole way. She helped me with every request- ice packs, water, and even made sure meds were on time! She helped me with every terrible symptom and issue I had, right down to building up my spirits!!!! Jeong is such a caring person that I know her caring for me actually made her truly happy. What a gift she is! There was nothing too big or too small to help me with, and I know this by seeing her empathy and positivity. The other nurse knew this, too, as Jeong always approached her with a cheery countenance. I knew she was smiling even through her mask.
