Everyone in the hospital understands how important of a colleague Cindy Crouch is, however, she is also important to those outside of the organization as well! On this date, Cindy arrived at the ED to support staff during a critical event. Upon arrival, she approached all staff members and asked what she could do for each of them and she took the time to attend to each of the loved ones of the patient being treated. While staff worked to stabilize the critical patient, Cindy took the time to speak with the family and helped to answer their questions. She provided much-needed emotional support during a very difficult time that they were not prepared for and never expected to have to face. The compassion Cindy has for everyone around her as she does her job is absolutely incredible. Her years of nursing in this community have endeared her to her coworkers, her patients, and all those that she serves.
