Claudia normally works on the 4th floor CCU, but floated to Sarofim 9th floor and was our nurse several days. She took care of B several days in a row. Let me tell you ….. Claudia is an angel sent from above! She is the most amazing nurse that I’ve ever encountered! Claudia came after her shift on another unit and helped me give B a haircut and a shave. She is also a patient advocate and a problem solver. She asked about certain medications and was a huge help when doctors made rounds. Claudia explained how the nitro cream for B’s toes works. She also is a cheerleader during physical therapy. He made a lot of progress during her shifts, and I am thankful for her!
