Maddie is a gem! She smiles through the worst of the worst bad days and never lets her patient see how stressful the night might be. A full disaster could be going on, and she would be right there assuring her patient that everything is okay. She makes them feel comfortable, and as one patient recently told me, “She makes me feel comfortable and never makes me feel like I am bothering her.” She is truly a phenomenal nurse, very patient and caring. She gives each patient her complete, undivided attention, and no matter how busy she is, she never rushes patient care! Not one time have I seen a patient complain about her care. In fact, many of her patients brag about her. Speaking from an employee, Maddie takes her time out always to help others. She teaches and helps others around her and is always up for learning herself. If anyone deserves to be recognized for not only being an exceptional nurse but one that goes above and beyond for not only her patient but her co-workers as well. She is the true definition of what MH stands for!
