Annely Nunez provides above-and-beyond, compassionate care, to all her patients making her an excellent choice for this year's DAISY Award. Annely is an LPN student graduating this spring. With English as her second language, I have watched Annely grow from being too shy and timid to speak in front of the class or patients to now being a confident and professional student nurse leader. Her hard work in perfecting the English language while studying and learning in this demanding LPN program is evident.

Annely was the first student to hand in a perfect care plan. She used the assessment skills we practiced in lab and her interview skills to collect pertinent health data from the patient to present a thorough and informative care plan. Annely then went on to help her peers who were struggling with theirs.

Annely Nunez is professional, kind, and determined. She holds many characteristics that would make her a great candidate for the DAISY Award.
