Leslie is a dedicated PCS, who started her career here at BayCare as a field nurse. She understands the role of the field clinicians, as well as the barriers they encounter, making her a great resource to her team. She is compassionate and listens to her team members. Her team members have expressed to the administrator how much they appreciate her as a supervisor. She wants to see the field staff succeed, and she is always available to help in any way that she can.

Leslie recently even took the time to go out into the field to work with a new nurse who was struggling with learning the role. She said to the nurse, "You can do this. Let me work with you." Leslie is a leader, an encourager, and a motivator. She is innovative and creative, and she incorporates these qualities in her day-to-day work with her team. She will rise to any challenge and participate in any project. She is a resource to the other PCSs as well regarding any issues related to the computer, schedule, and forms, and they all refer to her as our office "computer guru."

Leslie is a key player in our retainment goals because she is a support to all field staff, even if they are not her direct reports. Leslie is an example of exactly what we want to be in the role of a BayCare HomeCare PCS.
