Logan was with me for two days after open heart surgery. As an individual with Fibromyalgia, I had no idea how I was going to make it through this painful surgery. My family and friends assured me God would send an angel to take care of me. Sure enough, he sent Logan.
Every time I opened my eyes, Logan was there even though I could never lift my head to really see his face. I knew his voice. He encouraged me so much! Even though I remember constantly asking for fresh Sprite with ice, I never asked twice, and he was there to help me drink it each time. He was always gentle getting me in and out of bed for bathroom breaks when I could barely sit up myself.
Somehow, Logan managed to get me to try to do a few things for myself by assuring me that I would get stronger and heal faster. I often could hear him talking with my husband. On day three I started to see different nurses and I feel I had excellent care at this facility, but I won’t forget Logan! On my last day he stopped to say goodbye and I realized this was the first time I could focus on his face! I thank the Lord for sending him to me! He truly deserves the DAISY Award.
