This was the third child that we had as a family. This was also the toughest pregnancy mentally, emotionally, and physically. Megan’s attitude and demeanor were very positive. She tended to all of our needs, made sure we were comfortable and continuously checked up on our newborn.

That within itself is impressive. Megan though went above and beyond. She asked about our two other boys. Followed up to see how our oldest was doing in his baseball tournament. Made us feel at ease with our 2-year-old while he was in the room with us. Asked us about hobbies and what we like and followed up with questions about our personal lives. Her questions and feelings were genuine. She cares about her patients. She made us feel like we were part of the Winnie Palmer family.

The secret sauce to successful organizations is its people. Megan exemplified those characters and traits while she tended to us. She eased our minds and made the hospital an enjoyable and calming experience. There are many memories you take home after childbirth. We had three kids. This is the one time that one of our top memories is the nurse.
