I’m grateful and blessed to have such a gifted nurse in Taylor.

Taylor was an absolute Godsend. It seemed like everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Not because of any staff but just extenuating circumstances. She worked very hard and communicated with many different departments and many different doctors to find out what the plan was for the next surgery and to make sure to get everyone on the same page. Her “can do” attitude was all I needed at that moment. I knew she was doing everything possible to advocate for me. Plus she is hilarious! After having her I can confirm that laughter is, in fact, the best medicine. My interactions with her weren’t transactional. She helped physically AND mentally. After having experienced that dual-sided care, I cannot stress enough how imperative it is for all nurses to take that approach with every patient.

I’ve been in the hospital for several days now, a few days in the ER, moved to another room, then admitted to a room on the 4th floor. I’ve had so many wonderful, caring nurses and staff. It’s difficult to mention them all. A few touched my heart and we, over days, developed a close relationship. Taylor has been my nurse several times. I’ve had good days and rough days. Taylor has been here for both adding her personal charm and knowledge to get me through. Taylor has an ease about her, is never pushy, always gentle and concerned. I had some “intimate” treatments that embarrassed me but Taylor assured me “it’s to be celebrated” when the body functions properly. Taylor made sure I was comfortable and not concerned. She could just look at me and know I was in pain. Ready with meds and ice packs and a sympathetic ear and got me through. I’m grateful and blessed to have such a gifted nurse.
