My Mam has been in hospital for over 100 days. She was extremely confused and paranoid initially, Niamh would sit and try to comfort Mam in the evenings. She was very patient with Mam when she was confused and took her time with her. She would always talk to family and update us even if Mam was not her patient that day. Niamh gives a lot of care and attention to her patients with a smile and reassuring confidence. She is a credit to the nursing profession- caring, compassionate, and committed.

It takes a special kind of person to be a nurse, and Niamh is one. I work in an office, and anyone could do my job. Nursing is a vocation, and Niamh has it in buckets.

She is so cheerful and and willing to help her patients - it is a pleasure to have met her and witness her great work.
