In the past month, I have had to bring my two girls in for flu shots and wellness checks. Recently, I brought my youngest daughter, who is 3 in to get a flu shot and also ended up needing some bloodwork. Anna was the nurse who came in to take the blood, and she was amazing! She did a wonderful job helping to calm my nerves about what would happen if she moved and missed the stick. She was wonderful with C and was able to get in one stick, which meant we did not have to go to the outpatient lab at the hospital. The way that she communicated every step, and spoke to not only me but also C, made this a smooth doctor's office visit. I know that going forward, if either of my daughters need to have a shot or blood draw, and it is something the office can do AND Anna is working, she will also be my top request. Thank you, Anna, for showing the love and compassion of the OSF mission to my scared little girls and not making them afraid of seeing doctors or nurses.
