Sally fostered an environment where every team member felt valued and supported, and the new nurse was no exception.
There was a new nurse who floated in the Observation unit,  from another unit, feeling both excited and nervous about her first-ever floating experience. As she entered the unfamiliar unit, little did she know that Sally, the charge nurse, would soon become her guiding light, leading her through the challenging waves of a new environment.

From the moment the new nurse stepped foot into the observation unit, Sally's caring and empathetic nature shone through. She approached the new nurse with a warm smile and an outstretched hand, instantly making her feel welcome and at ease. Sally recognized the anxiety that often accompanies floating, and she took it upon herself to ensure that the new nurse seamlessly integrated into the team.

Throughout the shift, Sally's dedication to the new nurse was commendable.  She consistently checked in on her, offering reassurance and support at every turn. Aware of the overwhelming nature of admissions and discharges, Sally stepped in whenever she sensed she might need an extra set of hands, whether it was guiding her through the admission and discharges or lending a helping hand during patient care. Sally's presence made all the difference.

Sally fostered an environment where every team member felt valued and supported, and the new nurse was no exception. Sally's thoughtful actions and words of encouragement lifted the new nurse's spirits and helped her realize she was not alone on this journey.

As the shift drew to a close, the new nurse couldn't help but reflect on the great experience she had just encountered. The apprehension that once consumed her had been replaced by a sense of fulfillment and contentment. Sally's compassionate approach had truly made a lasting impact, not only on the new nurse but also on her perception of the observation unit as a whole.

Thank you, Sally! We appreciate all your hard work.
