Milly is one of a kind. She is the one that makes sure our unit runs smoothly. She is an amazing teacher, mentor, and friend. She goes out of her way to help the nurses on our floor. She will pick up patients when needed, stay over to be charge nurse if no one can, she helps with tasking, and always keeps a smile on her face and makes you feel safe and comfortable while working. She is also everyone's go-to person for help, just to talk or to share a funny story with. She is constantly asking staff what we need and is always checking up on us. She is the most amazing role model our floor could ever have, and we appreciate her so much! Being honored with a DAISY Nurse Leader Award would show her how much we appreciate her and give her a gift we could not touch.
