During my surgical visit, I was encountered by many good staff who were very nice. Even though she joked around and told me I might not remember her or the experience because of the anesthesia, I do remember the outstanding care Bianca gave me. I was very nervous about my surgery and when I woke up my recovery nurse had a big smile and made me feel much more at ease. I still got scared and was starting to panic and she held my hand and told me, "It is okay I am right here, and I won’t leave your side." She held my hand the whole time and when I needed something she would tell me exactly what she was doing, where she was going and always reassured me, that I was doing great.

Every time Bianca came back, she would see how anxious I was, and she would again hold my hand and continue to tell me, "You are doing great." Her smile and just overall demeanor made me calm down and I am very grateful to my nurse for that. She said I wouldn’t remember but I do remember very clearly when she said, "I may not know what you may be going through or feeling but I know that I am going to be here with you every step of the way and we are going to get through this together." I am so thankful that there are still nurses out there who have so much compassion and love for what they do, and you saw it in my nurse how much she cared for me. She is a wonderful nurse, and I couldn't stay quiet in saying thank you for making my surgery a memorable one in a good way. If I ever get surgery again, I know exactly the place to come to because of the nurses like her. Thank you.
