August worked extremely hard one day when I observed them helping my Mom who had a mini stroke at 93 years. The family knew nothing about what was happening. So August not only helped Mom but they helped all of us. August was always patient and showed they cared. I cannot say this strongly enough. Please recognize August. You should know I did not know August before this week!

August kept turning my Mom multiple times which is no small feat. They repositioned pillows throughout the day which is hard work. August kept asking if my Mom felt good; August was relentless. August kept coming into her room at least hourly. August was extremely personable and friendly to my Mom and the family. August was working so hard on her behalf that it was almost like August was her son. But August is not her son.

August was extremely knowledgeable and selfless. August’s energy level throughout the day never waned. August answered all of our questions thoughtfully and precisely. This nurse is an amazing asset to your hospital. August demonstrated they were in control of the medical situation which is reassuring because the family is thrown into a scary situation when someone they love ends up at the hospital.
