You went out of your way and over and above to make sure that my mom’s medicine was administered in such a way as to prevent her epilepsy from rearing its ugly head. At the same time, your gentile yet firm technique in moving her body while executing all those mundane/required personal cleaning sessions kept her from experiencing unbearable pain. But most of all, thank you for dealing with her cognitive and emotional challenges related to her dementia progression. You were always soft-spoken, yet clear. You endured her many harsh words that she will not remember she said. Job well done!! You are a shining star in your profession. Thank God for nurses!!

One final point: thank you for rearranging your rounds to accommodate my mother’s irritability. Your sensitivity to her state of mind made it much easier to deal with the times she was asked to give up total privacy and endure a lot of pain to make her better in the long run!

Waiting a little bit to administer medications or monitoring made it much more tolerable when she was awake and in a better attitude! Thank you for everything. When I think of UMC El Paso, your sweet face and personality will always come to my mind first.
