My husband was admitted to the ICU for more than a week; as his wife, I did not know why this was happening to him as he was healthy and stable and just came from vacation but I saw how hard he was going through and was afraid he will not make it. During the days of these difficult times, not knowing I found kind-hearted people in the nurses who took care of my husband, particularly Ms. Daisy. She would talk and comfort me that he was slowly improving; she gave me hope that he would make it and gave me comfort. I saw how they took care of my husband even though he could not see what they were doing. I am thankful for Ms. Daizy not only for taking care of my husband but also for thinking about how his family is feeling and taking time to explain to us and comfort us, especially as my husband woke up and even became uncooperative. I am thankful for her patience, kindness, and genuine concern as well as all the other staff, they are a blessing to all of us.
