Kristi Mahan makes our department a much safer and more comfortable place for our patients to be. She is always friendly, helpful and has a way of calming and reassuring patients that is unique and special. Kristi is very sweet and compassionate with our patients during their procedures; she not only assists the radiologist and the technician, but she also provides comfort to the patient by staying attentive and alert to any cues of pain, worry, or discomfort. She is also very good at explaining things to our patients in a simple way for non-medical workers. She works hard to improve the procedures and techniques used for procedures in our department. She is knowledgeable, calm, and always kind. Kristi is the best nurse that I have worked with in my 32-year career. I am thankful every day to have Kristi working in our department.
