Kerri is our nurse supervisor at Children’s Physicians Elkhorn. She is such an undeniable asset to our office. She is truly the glue that holds it all together. She takes such pride in her job and is accountable for every little detail of our office. She is the definition of going above and beyond. She is here five days a week, often one of the first nurses here and almost always the last one to leave. She isn’t counted in our staffing numbers, but that doesn’t stop her from jumping in and helping multiple times each day with nurse visits, blood draws, procedures, and more without being asked. She coordinates IT tickets and maintenance requests and makes sure everything is always taken care of. She is always open to sharing her vast knowledge and supporting staff in their professional goals, as well as coordinating opportunities for our office to observe in lab and urology to gain knowledge before starting new service in our office. She is such a positive light in our office, always smiling and upbeat. You would never know if Kerri was having a bad day because she is always so positive and cheery at work. She comes to work every day with a can-do attitude. She has done such a great job fostering a positive, trusting, and respectful culture in our new office to get the office off on the right start. She is a fierce advocate for her staff and is always looking for ways to improve not only our clinic, but Children’s Physicians as a whole. She welcomes any and all feedback, truly listens to that feedback, and takes it somewhere in an attempt to help foster change. She is a true role model for nursing in our office, and I feel we are lucky to have her as a leader. She leads by example, and she does it so well. We are all so thankful to have her as a leader in our office!
