Shannon was nominated by a patient: Shannon is an ultimate, professional caregiver. She has an awesome bedside manner which put me at ease and made me feel better. Losing half of my foot was a shock to me. Shannon always found time to give me words of encouragement. She took the time to make sure I understood all the procedures I was having and the medications I was taking. She allowed me to get up into the wheelchair so my wife could wheel me around the unit and get me out of my room. That meant so much to both of us. Shannon…you will never know how grateful I am that you were assigned to me on the days you worked. Your competency and compassion were inspiring to me.
